A compact, all‑metal 12.5 mm Plössl eyepiece with a red LED‑illuminated double‑line crosshair reticle — ideal for polar alignment, Go‑To setup, and accurately centring stars for guiding or astrophotography.
The 4‑element Plössl optics are fully multi‑coated with blackened lens edges for bright, high‑contrast views across the 40° apparent field. Eye relief is around 11 mm for comfortable use during longer alignment sessions.
The reticle is laser‑etched and focusable by twisting the end section near the eye. Illumination is adjustable from very faint (for dark‑adapted work) to bright enough for daylight setup. Power is supplied by three standard 1.5 V button cells, easily replaced when needed.
The nosepiece is threaded to accept standard 1.25" filters and is internally blackened to minimise reflections.
Photos of the reticle are taken through the eyepiece to show the pattern and brightness.
NB: To be totally honest about these they came without the small sleeve for the batteries but they work without it. 2 x AG10 batteries stack up easily as per the last photo
